Yunhai-2 is a constellation of Chinese military meteorological satellites.

Reportedly the satellites use Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Radio Occultation (GNSS-RO) to collect atmospheric data for weather prediction and for ionosphere, climate and gravity research.

The first cluster of six identical satellites was launched in December 2018 on a CZ-2D (2) YZ-3 rocket. The first three were sent to a circular orbit with a height of 520 km, and the other three were sent to a circular orbit with a height of 1095 km.
