Munin is a Swedish auroral research nanosatellite that was launched by a Delta-7320-10C rocket at 13:24 UT from Vandenberg AFB.

The 6 kg, cubical spacecraft with solar cells covering all sides is a student-built spacecraft, and carries a combined electron-ion spectrometer and a solid state detector for high energy particles. Also on-board is a miniature CCD camera to image auroras. Only the interesting data over auroral passes will be captured, compressed, and stored in a 2 MB memory for downloading during Kiruna (Sweden) passes.
