Saudi Sat 2 (30 kg) is designed to perform some experimental technologies that includes taking images with resolution better than 15 m for remote sensing. The orbit is sun synchronized at 700 km. It is to be noted that the Saudi Laser Station, part of the Space Research Institute, is going to be tracking Saudi Sat 2 with high accuracy of 3 of 1000 m.
