Blagovest is a series of four planned communications satellites for Russian domestic services.

The spacecraft and the payload is built by Russian ISS Reshetnev based on the Ekspress-2000 bus.

The first satellite, Kosmos 2520, was launched on a Proton-M Briz-M (Ph.3) rocket from Baikonur in August 2017.
