Yinhe 1 is Chinese technology demonstration satellite for Galaxy Space's planned 144 satellite global 5G communications constellation.

Reportedly the 227 kg satellite was built by SAST on the Galaxy-1 platform and will test Q/V- and Ka-band 10 Gbps communication links.

The satellite was launched on 16 January 2020 on a Kuaizhou-1A rocket from Jiuquan.

A cluster of six more satellites on a CZ-2C (3) rocket from Xichang was launched in April 2022.
