Nanosat 01 is a small technology satellite, which is constructed by the spanish space agency INTA (Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial). It weighs about 15 kg, has a power of 20 Watts and one of its applications is to ensure communications with bases in the Antarctica zone. Originally a launch on the maiden Capricornio flight was considered. Nanosat 01 was launched piggy-back with Helios 2A, 4 Essaim and PARASOL on an Ariane-5G+ launch vehicle.

Nanosat 1B is a small technology satellite, which is constructed by the spanish space agency INTA (Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial). It is a follow-up project to Nanosat 01.
