The LTA (Lunar Module Test Article) launched as a dynamic model representing the dynamic properties of a real lunar module.

These LTAs, launched on the first two test flights of the Saturn-5 rocket, consisted of the Lunar module structure, but replaced the systems (life support, propusion, etc.) with measurement equipment for the dynamic behaviour duing launch. The test articles remained attached to the Saturn-4B upper stage stage.
