TIRSAT is a 3U CubeSat developed by Japan Space Systems, Seiren Corporation, and several other organizations and universities. Its mission is on-orbit validation of the Uncooled Small Infrared Sensor, an Infrared Earth observation instrument, to observe the temperature of the Earth?s surface and seawater.
